Behavior Management
In order to create a positive & effective learning environment, it is important that every student feels comfortable & safe in our classroom. My goal is to help students in managing their behavior choices through a system of rewards & consequences. I expect everyone to try very hard to follow our classroom rules, but I understand that this is a learning experience. If a student has trouble making positive choices, there will be some consequences. I would greatly appreciate your help in dealing with any behavior issues that may arise, as well as with rewarding your child for good behavior, however you see fit.

Brag Tags
Brag Tags are incentive tags that your child can earn for positive behavior & choices that he/she makes during the school day. The tags are placed on a ring that is kept at school & brought home for special occasions. Brag tags are earned when the teacher notices a choice or behavior that exceeds expectations. They can be earned for many things : helping others, good listening, 100% on a test, passing a math fact level, neat handwriting, & more.
